Green Skills Tutor and Assessor (External Consultant)

Role Information:

Reference: REQ001127
Location: Berkeley and Filton and Offsite
FTE Salary: N/A - date rate TBC dependent on qualifications

Contract Type: Fixed term
Working Hours: will be set days, 9am-5pm.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Deliver green skills training courses as part of our Skills Bootcamp projects. The courses being delivered include:
    1. L3 Low Temperature Heating Systems
    2. L3 Installation and Maintenance of Air Source Heat Pumps
    3. L3 Installation and Maintenance of Small-Scale Solar PV systems
    4. L3 Battery Storage
  • Create all teaching resources, assess the learners, and comply with all quality assurance procedures including initial assessment and checking pre-requisites.
  • Adhere to SGS College safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Assist with data and evidence collection.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Necessary qualifications to teach the above qualifications.
  • Experience in teaching adults would be beneficial.
