Role Information:

Location: Stroud Campus
FTE Salary: Up to £26,220.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)

Actual Salary: £10,629.73
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Working Hours: 15 hours per week

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Adult Education Trainer to join our team and deliver cutting-edge training programmes for people in hard-to-reach communities.  As an Adult Education Trainer, you will play a vital role in empowering adults to achieve their full potential and support them into employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and innovative employability programmes that are specifically designed for adult learners.
  • Assess learner work in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring they align with the highest standards set by awarding organisations.
  • Celebrate the successes of adult learners and promote our adult programmes through open days and social media campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with day-to-day operations and tasks by attending regular team meetings.
  • Provide dedicated telephone and online support to adult learners, assisting them in overcoming challenges and maximising their potential.
  • Promote exciting progression opportunities within employment, networking with job centres and employers to job match.
  • Strengthen relationships with learners through the delivery of high-quality training programmes and foster a supportive and motivating learning environment.

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • GCSE English Language and Maths or Level 2 Communication & Numeracy Key Skills
  • Experience working with adults/young people with SEND
  • Experience working on employability programmes
