Through a variety of engaging learning and teaching activities, you'll be introduced to different concepts and gain valuable insights into the role of an assessor. Be ready to actively participate, contribute to discussions, and embrace hands-on activities. This proactive approach will ensure you make the most of the experience, enhancing your knowledge and understanding. To support your studies, you'll need to be in the work environment so that your tutor will be able to conduct observations during their visits to your workplace. This qualification is assessed by observation, witness testimony, interview and discussion, oral and written questions, assignments, projects and case studies.

Entry Requirements

It is essential for unit 302 and 303, that you are in a work environment where you are, or can have access, to carry out assessments and quality assurance in a learning environment. This hands-on experience ensures that you possess a practical understanding of the field. We also suggest that you should have a good level of Maths and English, however this is not a formal requirement. It is recommended that you strive to achieve a Level 2 proficiency in these subjects by the end of your qualification. If you don't already possess this level of proficiency, supplementary courses will be available alongside the main qualification.
