Our Level 3 Musical Theatre extended pathway is equivalent to three A-Levels and offers a comprehensive study programme tailored to aspiring musical theatre performers, equipping you with the necessary skills to embark on a career in the performing arts industry. Throughout this course, you will immerse yourself in a thorough exploration of diverse musical theatre techniques, building skills in singing, dancing, and acting. Emphasis is placed on dance technique, with streams in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Commercial Styles, tailored to your ability level.

In conjunction with delving into the rich history of musical theatre and performance techniques, you will have opportunities to refine your abilities in musical composition, choreography, stage movement, solo performance, audition techniques, and acting for screen.

As you progress through the programme, you will actively participate in a variety of musical theatre productions each year, hosted in our two theatres and various other venues across Bristol. This hands-on experience not only fosters your personal communication and collaborative skills but also provides invaluable insights into the dynamics of working within a professional musical theatre company.

You'll find yourself in close proximity to our degree students, immersing yourself in a vibrant theatre school environment. This unique setting ensures a rich and immersive learning experience. You'll also have a streamlined path to a recall audition for any of our BA (Hons) or Professional Diploma courses, setting the stage for your continued journey in the world of professional acting.
