Throughout the year, you’ll develop confidence in a variety of performance techniques, including voice work, physical movement, and character creation. At the same time, you’ll learn practical media skills such as camera operation, film production, and digital design tools, helping you understand both the creative and technical sides of media arts. With a focus on creative writing, you’ll be encouraged to express your ideas clearly and powerfully, preparing you to effectively communicate in the creative industries. The course also offers an introduction to the theatre industry, where you’ll explore both the performer’s role on stage and the critical work that happens behind the scenes. Whether you’re drawn to acting, production, or creative design, this programme gives you a well-rounded experience of both worlds. Delivered in collaboration with the Bristol Academy of Media at the WISE Campus, this course is rooted in real-world industry practices.

In addition to your core studies, you’ll also have the opportunity to be enrolled in maths and English lessons, ensuring you build a solid academic foundation alongside your creative pursuits.

Although there are no formal academic entry requirements, you will undertake an interview and an audition.
