With the Government’s commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050, it is estimated the country’s solar capacity needs to treble. In this Skills Bootcamp, you will gain a Level 3 qualification in the Installation and Maintenance of small scale solar photovoltaics, accredited by LCL Awards. Aimed at practicing electricians, or individuals looking for a career change, this Skills Bootcamp will introduce to the latest in renewable technology, specifically Solar PV.
How will I learn?
The Skills Bootcamp will be delivered largely face to face, delivered at one of our modern campuses with renewable technology training equipment to learn practically. Some elements will be delivered online with a tutor. Due to the nature of this Skills Bootcamp, some pre-requisites will be required. Please enquire for more details.
What can I do next?
It is expected that everyone who attends a Skills Bootcamp will gain a new responsibility within their current role. If you are unemployed, self-employed, or looking for a career change, we can assist in linking you up with local employers.

Course fees explained
The course fee is usually broken down into three components which are materials (resources required to study the course, for example stationery, books and other equipment), tuition (teaching, classroom etc) and exams. Depending on age, financial circumstances and a number of other factors, you could be asked to pay the full fee or just elements of it. Usually Learners under 19 studying Full-Time courses have just material fees, and if relevant, Academy fees, to pay. Over 19s on Full-Time or Part-Time courses usually have materials, exams and tuition fees to pay.
