Summary
Learners will work toward an appropriate level of qualification designed to develop knowledge, behaviour and skills in employability. Learners will practice and develop their life skills, English and maths, and work towards EHCP and Preparing for Adulthood outcomes as appropriate for the individual.
What do I need to join?
There are no formal entry requirements, however learners should be interested in developing skills and progressing to employment.
Maths & English
Learners will have the opportunity to improve English and maths by studying a suitable qualification at an appropriate level.
Work Experience
As part of the overall programme of study, learners may be required to undertake a period of work placement related to the field of employment they wish to enter, or have an interest in. Our Work Placement Team will assist learners in gaining a placement and ensure that you are on track to achieve, whilst liaising with your course tutors to ensure that the opportunity to practice necessary employability skills is available at college.
