Summary
The IT for Work sessions are available for learners with a little computing knowledge who need to improve their skills. You will build on your knowledge to improve the use of software like Word and Excel, to use emails, to manage data securely and to use the internet and social media for work. What do I need to join?

Course fees explained
The course fee is usually broken down into three components which are materials (resources required to study the course, for example stationery, books and other equipment), tuition (teaching, classroom etc) and exams. Depending on age, financial circumstances and a number of other factors, you could be asked to pay the full fee or just elements of it. Usually Learners under 19 studying Full-Time courses have just material fees, and if relevant, Academy fees, to pay. Over 19s on Full-Time or Part-Time courses usually have materials, exams and tuition fees to pay.
