Paint like a Fauve - Develop your creative painting skills through daring use of colour and markmaking Fauvism was a very brief but significant art movement at the start of the 20th century. It consisted of a small group of modern artists whose members were referred to as Les Fauves (The Wild Beasts in French). Using painterly qualities and strong colour they caused a stir in the art world, their influence has endured and is ever present in the current art scene. The course will cover such things as; Developing your colour palette Experimental mark making Producing a collection of studies Making a painting (or paintings) of your choice
How will I learn?
Through hands on lessons and creative demonstrations in sessions. You will be supported by the tutor in creating your own ideas and provided ideas to follow and adapt.

Course fees explained
The course fee is usually broken down into three components which are materials (resources required to study the course, for example stationery, books and other equipment), tuition (teaching, classroom etc) and exams. Depending on age, financial circumstances and a number of other factors, you could be asked to pay the full fee or just elements of it. Usually Learners under 19 studying Full-Time courses have just material fees, and if relevant, Academy fees, to pay. Over 19s on Full-Time or Part-Time courses usually have materials, exams and tuition fees to pay.
