Summary

This Art History course comprises two-hour classes, which introduce students to a range of artists and artworks from different periods within the history of art, brought together by different themes over the terms. The lectures are designed to give you a broad understanding of art, it’s history and the world around it, with the direction for further study. In addition to the lectures, every week time will be set aside for discussion and a refreshment break. Further reading outside the classes is encouraged but not mandatory. This course will be delivered our passionate Lecturers from the Bristol School of Art’s BA (Hons) Art History degree programme.

How will I learn?

Through in-depth, informative lessons and discussions delivered by our experienced and knowledgeable lecturers you will be able to learn, engage and explore the steeped artistic history of many different periods in time! There will be further reading opportunities provided for students to study outside of the classes which is encouraged but not mandatory.

Entry Requirements

There are not entry requirements for this course just an interest in the subject and a willingness to learn!
