Enrichment
SGSPlus+ is the name for our tutorial, enrichment and work placement diploma that all full-time learners will complete within their study programme during their time at SGS College.
Here at the College, learners will complete 36 hours of Enrichment. This will present a number of extra-curricular opportunities for you to get involved with. Some of these will be open to all students whilst others will be more course-specific. The Enrichment at the College will help you succeed both whilst at SGS and in preparing you for life after College.

Show/Hide Student Ambassador InfoAs an SGS Ambassador, you will be expected to act as a positive role model and represent the College in various situations. You will work with current students and staff, visitors, prospective learners, and their parents. Activities include:
- Open Events - Engage with visitors that attend the college, provide a warm welcome, escort visitors to relevant departments, give information and answer any questions.
- College Tours - Become a tour guide, escort visitors around the campus, and showcase our facilities.
- Learner Induction Duties - Welcome new learners to the college and provide help and advice.
- School visits with the Careers Team - Visit local schools to support the careers team.
- Marketing support - Help prepare event goodie bags, promote the college, and collect event visitor feedback.

Enrichment Badging
SGS learners can earn badges based on the hours of Enrichment completed
Learners can earn badges for 10, 20, 36, and 54 hours of Enrichment. These hours are earned through various activities including on-course Enrichment, Students Union activities, and The Big Debate.
